Airy, fluffy and thick sums it up - these donuts are delicious!! Not to mention that they are always consistent. Family owned, quaint, little donut shop. Service is always quick and friendly.

The staff (family owned and run by the grandmother and daughter) were extremely nice, the place was very clean, the selection of donuts were awesome (getting their earlier does pay off with selection), and the donuts were amazing! If I lived nearby, I would come here once a week! Thanks for a wonderful dozen!
Awesome donuts!! We had Bavarian filled & maple glazed along with cinnamon rolls All of them were delicious. .Friendly service & they were open on Thanksgiving morning

A no frills place Gold Star is a small takeout place, there is no table seating inside. I stopped by to get a couple of donuts to eat while driving home. As soon as I walked in and looked at the display cases, I knew I wanted their Apple Fritter. It was great, definitely sweet but not overwhelming, with a bit of a crunch. I still wanted a donut and selected their White Cream donut, with chocolate on top. It was also great. There were no other customers when I arrived so it was a quick in and out, not much interaction with the person helping me. She seemed nice. I ended up laying my treats on the hood of my car to take a photo, and while I was messing around doing that I saw several other customers stopping in for their donut fix.

Amazing donuts, amazing service! These donuts are so airy and light not cakey and dense, their apple fritter is so good not too terribly apple and it tastes fresh as well. Their glaze is so perfect not too sweet and it's actually got a nice crisp bite to it.
